  1. Dear Rob, I want to thank you for being such a beautiful loving caring friend and support person to my 4 kids and I over the years. I still remember the night I needed a foster carer for Marley, you sent me a message saying that Catherine were sitting in airport overseas waiting to board a plane to come back home to Australia and you said you both would love to foster Marley but little did we know that you both then adopted Marley and gave him a beautiful loving family and home. This was then the first time we met and we are forever greatful for this night. RIP Rob and we will see you again when it becomes our turn to return home. We will keep a good eye on Catherine and make sure she has all the love around her ❤️

  2. I met Rob on Facebook before a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL pre-Covid, & we quickly became friends. He was quite a caring gentleman who always thought of others, first. He loved the Leeds, his suds, & his truck.
He adored his wife, Catherine, & they were truly in love & devoted to one another! It was fun watching them together b/c it was like they were two giddy teens who were in love for the first time.
I know that Catherine will miss Rob, but I am sure that he will be her Guardian Angel watching over her. “Separated for a while, but eternal forever…”
Enjoy you’re fully restored body, buddy, mate, or whatever including a full head of hair! Lol. I look forward to being reunited w/ you one day, as well!
    Hugs,
    Mark :)

  3. Sincere sympathy and prayers for Catherine and the family, during this time of grieving Rob’s passing. Would love to be present in person but distance prevents attendance.

  4. To my Flamingo loving couple!!!! I met you both on a cruise and we all became instant friends. Rob was a sweet, loving, kind soul. Always willing to chat or even banter. He will truly be missed. He fought the good fight and now he may RIP.. I know that your heart is broken and that will heal. You are always in my heart and thoughts. Till we meet again and take our next cruise together. Love, Hugs and kisses to you Rob.

  5. Our love & prayers surround you Catherine & also the family at this sad time.
We never did get to meet dear Rob yet really felt that we knew him. We saw him to be a warm & loving person. Always had a ready & lovely smile even when the going was rough. We admired his strength & resilience when times were really hard going. He was an amazing fighter & didn’t give in. He had a Warrior spirit.
He fought the fight & is know resting in the arms of Jesus.
We’ll get to meet you one day Rob, when we too arrive at our Eternal home. Love Errol & Heather Grice.

  6. Catherine I really don’t need tell you this, but you had one fantastic husband. I first met Rob when I was 15 (31 years ago) when I moved to Congleton and his niece Kerry and I became friends. I have so many fond memories. Then when my mum sadly passed away in December 2021 Rob was there for me messaging me when he saw I was on Facebook and clearly wasn’t sleeping, with his sound and caring words he truly did help me. I will never forget your kindness even though you were going through a horrific time in your own life. This world has certainly lost a true gent, fly high mate. Love kirstin xxx

  7. I met Rob some 40+ years ago when we were in the local CB radio group he was the most gentle caring person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. We had some fun times back then as a gang. You will be deeply missed Rob by so many, but memories will remain forever. Love to Catherine and all the family xx
