  2. I always felt safe and loved around Uncle John growing up. He was my favourite uncle. I had come across a Rolex watch at work and I used to always talk to Uncle John at the Woodridge markets when I sold there. I keep the Rolex watch in the glove box and next time I seen Uncle John at the markets I handed it to him and the look on his face was like I gave him a million dollars. I don’t know if it was real or not as work was second hand items but I knew he would love it no matter what. R.I.P Uncle John xx

    1. Lost my own dad at 65, now uncle John at 67…..I guess uncle John outscored dad in the end, by 2 runs…..Uncle John was coooool man…….Chris gayle cool…..ice cool….always smiling and always charging himself up, ready for the next funny thing to point out or happen. He made my childhood fun, he made ALL our childhoods fun….welcoming ANYONE to play cricket or basketball…he simply didnt care who you were, he was a real life mr miagi….Ill never forget his guidence and his wisdom. Together with dad we went fishing, and worked on 2 stroke lawn mowers and even built a home made outboard motor together….A wonderful man, who appreciated the simple things in life and saw value in things others did not. I will always love you uncle John.
