Frequently asked questions.

How can I be certain I will get the correct ashes back?

We take this responsibility very seriously, and the process to ensure this happens is closely regulated. Before cremation, an ID number is assigned and stamped on a metal disk – this then accompanies your loved one throughout the cremation process, so we always know who is who.

Can I choose to not have the ashes returned?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Optio, neque qui velit. Magni dolorum quidem ipsam eligendi, totam, facilis laudantium cum accusamus ullam voluptatibus commodi numquam, error, est. Ea, consequatur.
How are the ashes returned?

You may request to not have the ashes returned after the cremation. If that is your wish, we will require a signature as confirmation. We can then scatter or dispose of the ashes on your behalf.

The passing of your loved one can happen at any time. With this our committed team is available 24/7/ 365 to support and care for you through your journey of bereavement

We establish where your loved one is. E.g. Hospital, home, nursing home facility, coroners

We will schedule a meeting with your funeral care planner so we have the opportunity to gain some insights into your loved one.

In this meeting there is usually one or more family members.

We always advise that there is more than one person so that THAT person feels

The meeting is usually held at the family home or at one of our conveniently located offices, whichever suits you best.

In this meeting we will start the arrangements for your loved one and will gather the following information:

  1. Details of your loved one
This is required for the issuing of your loved one’s death certificate. We will submit these details to the Register General on your behalf.
  2. Personal details to reflect
We encourage you to share the essence of your loved one.
We understand that each and every person impacts the world in their own special way and we believe that their service and the finer details should reflect
  3. Burial / Cremation
Your funeral director will be able to answer all your questions around burial or cremation care enabling you to make informed decisions.
  4. Burial / Cremation dates and details
We will establish the details of your loved one’s final send off with regard to date, time and venue.
  5. Products and services
We will assist you in selecting the relevant products and services for your loved one’s care.
  6. Gather legal docs.
Dependant on burial or cremation we will advise you on the documentation required.

We will lodge these documents on your behalf.

3. Service Preparation

Once the details have been established our team will start preparing for your loved one’s funeral.

An invoice will be raised and full pre-payment will be required before the date of the service.
